T31 Colour-Coding Theme
Hi Guys,
Not sure about you, but since the T31 came out in 2007 with the black bumpers and side skirting, I always wondered why Nissan didn't colour-code them to match the car.
My first guess was that they left these bits un-painted to mask any off-roading scratches, as they won't show up as much, which could be a reasonable thing to do of course.
However I always wondered how the T31 would look with all these black plastic bits colour-coded, so I did some search around and found a Japanese T31 exy in Twilight colour that had them colour-coded, so here are the pics:
Doesn't look too bad I reckon, but gives it a strong resemblance to the T30 exy I reckon

Re:
Too much colour IMO, the black sections define the T31 lines a bit more.

Re:
I reckon this would suit a road T31 exy
I would have left the tailgate black strip as is instead of colour-coding too.

Re:
Yeah Don, I was already trying to imagine the colour theme in Red LOL
Problem is, I want my Red Bull to have fun off-road a little and knowing how hard it was to keep the scratches away with the Black Beast, I don't think it's a good idea, but will definitely worth considering when the Red Bull gets older
EDIT:
Actually guys, my bad, I completely forgot that in Japan they have the special edition T31 X-Trail Autech Axis version which comes colour-coded like that from the factory. More pics can be seen HERE
