Happy Xer

G'day all,
I just picked my 2003 X up last week and really could not be happier!
Already this forum has answered more questions than I knew I had.

I've confirmed with nissan that all recalls are up to date, I've tracked down a new key fob housing and I've bought the bits and just need to solder together the timer box for the windows.

I hope to be as much help over the next few years as you all have been already.

I am a mechanic by trade but only swing spanners formyself now as I work in the airline industry now, as well as running my own printing business.
My last car was an old 3series BMW with over 325,000km on the clock but the business and family demanded we go bigger in the "space to cram stuff into" department.

Look forward to meeting you all,

Luke.

Hi Luke and welcome to the forum!

If you haven't already done so; could you please click the flashing button, up the top of the page, which says Vote for our forum.;

After you do this, could you drop into the announcements section, (vote for our site) & let everyone know how we are going in the position race.

If everyone votes for the forum each day, we can climb up the listing, & show everyone that the X-Trail does rock the world. emoticon

Check the events and meet ups for trips in your local area!

Regards Scot

Re:

G'day guys,

Aifzilla, I print stubby coolers. I do single colour screen printing and full colour dye sublimation. It's a hobby business with a mate to earn beer money, small problem is it went ferral and now I have two full time jobs and only get to sleep once a month...

I'm looking forward to heading out on a few club runs, I was pretty involved in the Euro forums with the Beemer so when my days off line up with a run i'll be there. Not too sure if I want to take the X on the sand yet though.

Scot, Voting completed! 8th is pretty impressive, going to take a very dedicated effort to get to no 1.

Luke.

Re:

Ah screen printing cool my brother used to screen print in geebung. When ever I told people I was a printer they'd ask me to print band shirts . . .

Then I would have to tell them I only print the crap you throw in the bin.

Back to the cars, I'm keen to hit the sand, I'm thinking of maybe a day at bribie island or a weekend camp at straddie, but still sorting through threAds to see if anyone has had recovery points engineered for the front end (there are a lot of threads I still have to read).

Regards Aif
