Wanderer69 (John & Melinda)

As you might have noticed that John has not been on the computer much of late and I have just received a call to say John is facing surgery on his left foot on the 7th of February 2011 here in Brisbane and will involve a triple fusion of the heel bone and after wards he will not have side ways movement but will still have up and down motion.

He will also spend some time in plaster after the surgery and I will let the Brisbane members of this forum know where to visit him when the time comes if they choose too!

To say the least John has still not recovered from his fall from a truck whilst at work back in August 2009 and this injury to date has been getting him down!

At present because his X-trail is manual can not use and his beloved motorbike has not been ridden since he had the accident.

He gave me permission to post this as to let you all know he his trying his best to keep up appearances but he his feeling quite down about it all and not feeling sociable.

I just wanted to let you all know this as he has done a super job for the forum as for reminding the members to vote each day and he has been missed over the past few weeks.

Get well soon John and Wendy and myself are here if you need a hand with anything!

Regards Scot

Re: Wanderer69 (John & Melinda)

Thanks for the heads-up on this Scot, I was starting to wonder what happened to John, as he was actively involved in reminding all members to vote.

Take care John and get well soon. The forum and its members are here to offer you any help you might need.

I hope the operation goes smoothly next year.

Please keep us updated.

All the best John, I hope all goes well with the operation.

Tough times takes a tough resolution to keep going and mate, you strike me as the tough type. Keep the chin up old chap and remember there are heaps of people thinking about you and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Cheers, and hope you get better soon John.

re.

Hi everybody.
Thanks for all the kind words;
I havent been feeling the best lately, (emotionally)
Have been having a heap of downtime.
This accident happened in August 09, & it looks like it is going to be about another 12 months,
about the end of 2011; till I am back on my feet again, properly.
I will be trying to get back in here more often again.
Great to see everyone still getting out & about.
Though some states, seem to be getting out more than others.
Come on those other states, start getting out there.
Well enough outa me for the time being.
Catch you all again soonly.
