Re: Replacement Brakes

Brett,

Has the price of the Bendix 4WD front pads DB1333 gone-up recently?

I bought a set from Repco yesterday and was first quoted $109.00 per set, I told the guy that the last set I bought only cost me $66.00 and he said there is no way I would have got them at that price but was prepared to drop the price to $99.00

I can't remember them being that expensive.

Re: Replacement Brakes

Possibly, I started to doubt myself about that $66.00 until I got home and looked-up the receipt for myself and saw the $66.00 for sure. Price rise of $33 bucks!! emoticon

Yeah mate, they have gone up.

I have recently purchased a set for my Patrol and managed to get them during a sale for $99 each.

Re: Replacement Brakes

Hi all, may I ask if the series 1 brake rotors are the same as the 2005/06 ( series 2) onwards before the new shape?
Thanks

Re: Replacement Brakes

Hello all there down under !

I don't like the performance of my standard brakes of the X-trail.
Now I read a lot here and the most changed to brand; Bendix 4WD
Is this for breakperformance or other reason ( I read dust ???? ).
Can I only change discs or do I also have to change the "shoes" ( we call them brakeshoes overhere, don't know the translation so fast ). Brakepads ???
Yeah, please emoticon and then anwer me please emoticon

Thanx in front.

Car; X-trail 2.2 Dci 09-2005 4WD

Re: Replacement Brakes

If your discs are still in good condition, I would recommend EBC Green Stuff pads (shoes) as a good alternative to the factory pads. The breaking ability is much better and they don't produce any dust.

If however your discs needs replacing, consider upgrading to slotted discs and get the Bendix 4WD pads that perform exceptionally well with the slotted discs.
