Thanksnondisclosed_email@example.com (Nordic X)Tue, 12 Mar 2024 22:20:34 +0000 T31 14cm (5.5inch) lift?https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2100304,from=rss#post2100304https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2100304,from=rss#post2100304Hey Guys So i want to lift my xtrail (t31 4x4 diesel) a little. I read most threads on here and on the uk based forum. Most agree, that 30mm is the maximum lift that can be achieved without damaging the cv. But then there is this japanese guy who puts in a 4 inch spacer plus lift springs and achieves a 5.5 inch lift. Thats a cool 140mm. According to his comments the cv is fine. This kit is apparently officially sold in japan. Do how on earth is that possible while we struggle to run a 40mm lift?? Here's the video: 14cm lifted t31 He seems to be using new springs and a spacer upfront. In the rear he is only using new, longer springs. From what i understand, we can't get a hold of lift springs that lift more than 30mm. Would a spaccer like this help? spaccers lift rings Are those spaccers placed directly above the spring and would that work for the rear of a t31? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
