Tailgate side clearance gaps


Hi all
I've got a 2008 T31 xtrail unfortunately i got hit from behind by a tailgater so took it in for repairs went to pick it up the clearance gaps around tailgate and rear window dont look right plus they scored the window edges I didn't accept the car and told them to repair it properly What is the clearance around tailgate and window suppose to be? i would appreciate your advice

Easiest way to check is to find a T31 in a caryard and measure the tailgate gaps, even taking some pics with a ruler across the gaps and show them to the repairer.

From memory it isn't small, at a very rough guess I'd say its near 5mm. I'll see if I can't stick a vernier on one around here, and see.
