If all you can get is a damaged one, buy it cheap and instead of replacing the entire rubber on your car, simply lift and cut the damaged section/s from your X-ey's rubber. Then cut the same length from the bad replacement you bought, and find a piece of squashy rubber that you can poke into the tubular pieces on each side of the cut. Using a contact adhesive such as Tarzan's grip, or even better, super-glue, carefully join the ends with your rubber joining piece poked in between them. If you do it carefully, it can look almost perfect and last as long as the car if you make sure the rubber does not end up too short, and the location you choose for the join is not on a curve or other high-wear zone.nondisclosed_email@example.com (roid)Fri, 17 Jul 2020 22:56:34 +0000 Weather Stripping T31?https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2097081,from=rss#post2097081https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2097081,from=rss#post2097081Hi all, Has anyone replaced the weather stripping for their vehicle and if so could they share where they sourced it from? Having a really hard time finding the weather stripping for my T31 Xtrail. Just to confirm I'm after the rubber that surrounds the doors and boot to stop water leaking into the vehicle. Thanks for any help in advance! Jacknondisclosed_email@example.com (Armedbandit)Wed, 30 Oct 2019 10:05:43 +0000
