Pod Filter Adapter Plate

Hello, i have a spare pod filter from another of my cars and was wondering the bolt pattern/sizing for the maf adapter plate (or other cars i could buy this for pending my small amount of money), i do not wish to go for a full cold air intake and i am asking this after scrolling these forums for hours looking for it.

I have a AUDM 2003 nissan xtrail ST 4x4 with the QR25DE engine, i have read the numerous CAI posts including the PDF guide that is passed around but i could not find this information, below i have linked the only Xtrail specific pod filter adapter plate kit that i have found however this includes a filter (which i already have) and no specifications for the plate, this is also for a 2005 model but i assume this would be the same maf.

If someone knows of a post with this bolt pattern please link it if you want to lock this thread because i have spent hours looking for an answer on here and multiple other forums

(pod filter kit i found while searching: https://www.cosmoracing.com/XTRAIL-2005-2006-2.5L-2WD-AWD-CANADA )
(at the very least could someone let me know if this fits so worse comes to worse i can buy this)

Re: Pod Filter Adapter Plate

Hi Connor,
See the top paragraph of my post in this CAI thread where I mention the hole spacing for the adapter.

This is the one I used MAF adapter

I got the MAF adapter from the same place I got the silicone joints. It is metal and had hole spacings of 70mm x 80mm so I only needed to elongate the holes a bit to have it fit the 75mm x 75mm spacing of our MAF sensor.
The silicone joints were formed 45deg and 90deg and a straight for the MAF adapter connection. They are 4mm thick with a 3-ply re-inforcing construction and tougher than rubber.
The black metal tubing was standard intercooler piping from an auto shop.
I went for the black colouring to give it the "stealth" look to keep it looking as much OEM as I could.

just reconfirming i need a 75mmx75mm fitting (i dont have a dremil or anything to move enlongate the holes and i dont know anyone who does)for the maf on an audm 03 QR25DE t30 ST? sorry im asking so much but shipping times absolutely murder me with how far away from anywhere i am so return policies usually run out by the time i get things

Re: Pod Filter Adapter Plate

Where are you located Connor ?

I might also suggest that if you don't have the basic drills and other tools to modify something yourself then buying the ready-made Cosmo CAI might be your best option.

Re:

Near brisbane, i do have a drill but the xtrail is my only working car at the moment while im sinking literally all of my free income into my other projects so id rather buy things that actually fit unlike the headache that is my other car, if you could link me a CAI that would fit my car it would probably come with the maf adapter for it that i could use anyway.
