Flickr is changing its account rules

Flickr is now introducing paid membership after being taken over by Smug a few months ago.

While the annual fee is US$[sign in to see URL] for unlimited storage, they still have free accounts but limited to 1,000 photos

Re: Flickr is changing its account rules

Thanks for the update Kev.
A "free account" limited to 1000 photos will last me until I'm poking up daisies because it's only this forum that I would post on [sign in to see URL] least I can't think of anything else that would require me to post photos regularly.
For those who would need to post over 1000 photos I say "good on ya" because you are obviously more into this technology than I am aware [sign in to see URL] well.

cheers all.

ps. After submitting above response I logged into my email and there was a message from Flickr in my inbox outlining everything about the changes. So I guess that all of you that do have a Flickr account will probably receive an email as well so that you can check all the changes for yourself..

cheers again
