Hello a new member here from Ottawa Canada

Hello fellow X trail Owners.
My name is Rod and I just jumped ship from owning a few Honda CRV/Elements to a new to me 2006 X trail. I teach high school autoshop locally here and I picked up the X trail to do as a little project with my classes. As I'm sure most of you know on the forum that the X trail was only offered here in Canada for 2 or 3 years and I think parts and knowledge of these vehicles here is somewhat limited. I look forward to combing through the archives and trying to find some answers to my many questions and soaking up the wealth of knowledge that is evident here. Please forgive me in advance if I ask some certifiable noob questions.
Thanks

Re:

Welcome mate! Enjoy.

As a new X-Trail owner myself, and only dable in tinkering with cars, I already love how easy the XT seems to be to work on.

Replacing the reverse lights switch and aircon blower resistor bank this weekend, then I'll also give it a full service soon after that.,

Dont the front brakes myself already.

It's all so easy to access (so far) but I hear clutches are a nightmare lol. Fortunately my clutch is fine.
