Hi Guys. Never thought I'd be the proud owner of a mobile speed camera...I mean Nissan X-Trail, but here I am, and I have to say, I am actually PROUD of it.

Purchased a couple of weeks ago, it's just a 5 grand 2nd hander 06 T30 in black. Manual with Sunroof.

Reason for purchase was I wanted something that could:
-tackle "some" off-road
-that I could throw mountain bikes in the back of with ease
-that I could sleep in on a camping trip,
-that doesn't cost a fortune in fuel and/or maintainance.

After much research, the XT just ticked every box at a great used price point.

This car is mostly meant to be the wife's, while I drive a dull 07 Civic to work and back every day, and a sporty little something for the weekends (the reason I wanted my other cars to be cheap to look after).

However, I now find myself wanting to leave the wife with the Civic and steal away the XT most days.

I'm surprised at how much I love it already.

I've already performed the following myself:
-Replaced front brake disks and pads
-Re-adjusted handbrake
-Full clean inside and out including fishing out a life times worth of "stuff" from under the hole in the carpet under the seats (what the?)
-Polishing and re-sealing the front headlights so they look like new again.

Still to do:
-Service inc spark plugs
-Swap to AT tires, possibly on a set of spare 16" steel rims if I can find some
-Replace AC blower/fan fuse thingy
-Possibly replace reverse light switch (still in trouble shooting phase. Will check fuse tonight).

So really I'd just like to thank all those who've posted questions and answers in the past. When researching the cars before and after purchase, most of my answers were found here. (and a bit of YouTube).
