If the engine turns over and there is fuel then it might be spark or just lack of compression from the oil slowly running away from the cylinder walls.
How long have you tried to crank it over ?

Sorry, but I'm gunna go with the 99% usual suspect when jobs like this are done....even in dealership workshops that I used to manage....
There's a wire/connector you've missed reconnecting....seriously, 99% of the time, this is all it is. Especially when the jobs take this long. You just forget. And at the time you don't think to write down each connector you unplug, and in what order. Manuals don't help because they usually don't list & identify each connector, they just say "Disconnect electrical connectors, reinstall in reverse order"
Using a torch, thoroughly go over the engine and transmission looking for any connections, plugs on ends of wires, sockets on engine, gearbox & external modules, that are not connected to something.
"Neutral switch" would be a good place to start if you pulled the gearbox?
