Thnaks also for feedback behind the power window relay reasoning. Regarding the power window delay circuit, it was designed in the way it is on the forum so that it would easily fitted by inexperienced owners AND easily removed without wiring modifications before submitting any power window problems to the service department if any arose.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Sat, 07 Apr 2018 07:42:25 +0000 T31 Series V - Diagram show locations of plugs and sockets on wiring harnesseshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095545,from=rss#post2095545https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095545,from=rss#post2095545HI All, I have a T31 Series V and i have read with interest the posts to do with the power window delays and steering wheel lights illumination etc. I am not an auto lectrician but I do have heaps of general electronics experience. I've been looking through the workshop manuals that I have (soft copies) and I can see reference to various "connectors"together with pin numbers however i can't find anything that details the location of these connectors. EG the steering wheel illumination shows cockets M106, M33 and M32, while the A/T illuminatiopn shows M85 or M86 depending on the car details. I have also given some though to the window delay issue and acknowledge the capcitive charge delays submitted on the forum. I was thinking of using the key in signal - such that so long as key was inserted the windows would operate and then the delay would come in after the key was removed. I had given though to basing a design around a microcontroller . The thought being that the microchip with initiate the delay once it lost the key in signal. The delay could be programmed into the microchip or alternately could be adjusted within a "range"by switch settings. If anyone had some ideas on whther information on the wiring harness socket locations existed I'd really appreciate it. Cheers Ian nondisclosed_email@example.com (ibu01)Fri, 06 Apr 2018 21:24:28 +0000
