Having trouble finding the part online. Does anyone have a link to a good quality OEM part? What's the actual name of the part? Is this a job for a mechanic or auto-electrician? What would an honest mechanic/ AE charge for this?nondisclosed_email@example.com (Triestino)Fri, 22 May 2020 07:33:15 +0000 Re: T30 Stuck in Parkhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095345,from=rss#post2095345https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095345,from=rss#post2095345I'm not having much luck in FAST looking that up for you. There's something screwing going on. I found: "34950-4M700" but the notes say that part finished in 2002? Quick google put pricing at @USD$175!! Eeek! Have a look at this page and see if there's anything there that looks familiar: https://nissan.7zap.com/en/ar/x+trail/t30/3+109+65535/f/349/#34950M Once you have a Nissan part number, you can Google for alternatives, and from other vehicles too.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Wiz Au)Sat, 10 Feb 2018 10:25:52 +0000 Re: T30 Stuck in Parkhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095342,from=rss#post2095342https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095342,from=rss#post2095342Cheers mate, Appreciate the reply. I can see Nissan charging a bomb!nondisclosed_email@example.com (homer911)Fri, 09 Feb 2018 14:12:58 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095341,from=rss#post2095341https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095341,from=rss#post2095341Hi Steven, Yes, it's a known fault with the T30 and it's the solenoid/micro-switch that require replacement. You don't need to replace the shifter at all, so just buy the micro-switch by itself and preferably new.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Fri, 09 Feb 2018 06:34:08 +0000 T30 Stuck in Parkhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095336,from=rss#post2095336https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095336,from=rss#post2095336Hey All, I have seen another post similar to mine but it was locked so I will start my own. I have a 2006 T30 auto and it keeps getting stuck in Park. I can get it out by pressing the red manual release button next to the lever. I have had a little read online and it seems to be the release solenoid on the transmission lever assembly or the brake pedal micro switch. (More than likely the release solenoid) Is there anywhere to buy these parts or do I have to buy the entire shifter. I also have the option to go to a wreckers but it looks like the shifter would be about $100. The solenoid would only cost less $20. Any help would be appreciated.
