Nissan X-Trail ST-S 2006 --- BIGGEST TYRES!?

Hey,

Im currently driving a X-Trail ST-S 2006 (5S Manual) and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the biggest possible all terrain tyres I could fit on my vehicle?

At the moment I have the 215/65R16 and I wouldn't mind something a bit bigger for when I go onto the beach.

If anyone has any insight or perhaps done this to their own ST-S I would really appreciate some feedback.

Cheers,
Marco

37/[sign in to see URL] are the 'biggest possible' you can put on without cutting the door frames. You'll need to cut a lot away from the guards and completely remove the inner guards after the 300mm strut lifts and comp wheels.

Oh, you mean without modifying the entire car into a mini monster truck, and still remaining legal? emoticon

With the standard alloys and no lift kit, IMHO: 225/70/16 without tyres hitting stuff. If you are prepared to cut away plastic inner guard liners, probably 235/75/16, but the stock alloy wheels are a bit small for those.

2004 T30 series II, Ti for now.
JRR50 Pathfinder, QD32ETi Turbo Diesel, with 'lots o fruit'.
Was looking for a white or silver 2011-2013 T31 TL (Diesel) to "pimp out".
But now moving to a 2012 Jeep Cherokee KK CRD Limited.

I would love to install a lift kit and some big tyre, but for now the 225/70/16 will have to do. Do you know if 15" will have issues with the break pads? Because I guess I could still get 225/70/15 and get a bit more rubber?

Cheers for the feedback though, much appreciated!
