It would just be easier to remove the engine.nondisclosed_email@example.com (TopGun65)Wed, 01 Aug 2018 16:01:34 +0000 Re: Crankshaft Bearingshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095998,from=rss#post2095998https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095998,from=rss#post2095998I find it interesting you say you can change the crank and bearings while leaving the engine in the Xtrail. The hardest thing about this is lining up the timing marks of the chain with the crank, intake and exhaust camshafts along with the balance shafts as there is very little room on that side of the engine bay to work. Could you explain the method you used please as it would help many others instead of saying it can be done and having them try to find out how for themselves.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Tue, 31 Jul 2018 23:14:56 +0000 Re: Crankshaft Bearingshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095996,from=rss#post2095996https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2095996,from=rss#post2095996Yes, I have changed the crankshaft as well as the bearings. The seals can be easily damaged though.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Joseag)Tue, 31 Jul 2018 19:51:23 +0000 Re: Crankshaft Bearingshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094662,from=rss#post2094662https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094662,from=rss#post2094662The engine is QR25DE in 2005 T30nondisclosed_email@example.com (sanmarco)Sat, 30 Sep 2017 17:21:59 +0000 Crankshaft Bearingshttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094661,from=rss#post2094661https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2094661,from=rss#post2094661Hi, is it possible to replace bearing shells wih the engine still in the car?
