posticon T31 ST - can you play music via Bluetooth?

Hi members, I have recently purchased a T31 ST stock standard no mods. Beaut car. In regards to the Bluetooth I can link my iPhone 5 to receive and make calls but can't work out how to play music via Bluetooth. Works via aux cord connected to the music unit only. MV's books are vague at best, suggest it can be done but maybe not on this model? My son will be the main driver and I don't want him fiddling with the iPhone selecting tracks etc when driving. Can anyone suggest a fix or if I need to upgrade the stock radio unit, what is best in regards to performance and fit for the car. Thanks

Doug,

I have a T31 ST-L and i haven't found a way to do this... I have to use the AUX cord which is annoying. I'm going to rip out that head unit and update it anyway.... They're not very good.

I use to live in Albany, Albany Car Stereo could hook you up... if you have a lot of spare emoticon money...

I'm not sure whether T31 ST-L radio is the same however I've no issues playing music.
I've pair the phone to the head head , made sure it was connected and the using the aux button you scroll to the BT audio and way you go.
I play spotify mostly but can also play music on the phone itself.
Cheers
Ian

I have a series 4 ST, and get 'No Aux' when trying it Ian's way.

Ian, what year/model do you drive?

Re:

I have the same model car as you and the answer is no. You might find the 6 cd stacker gives up on you as well as mine has done so twice.

I'm looking at changing my radio/cd player so I can play over BT but I'm wondering will this muck up my telephone connections (when i get them working again).

My 2013 ST has that head unit and I can listen to Spotify ok. Once the Bluetooth connects to my phone, I press the AUX button and go with the BT AUDIO option. The only problem I have is that the LCD fades very quickly to black and I can’t see anything. I’ve ordered a new display panel and hope that it’ll fix it.
