Is Nissan now updating maps as part of scheduled servicing? I have heard a couple of claims now that Nissan is now updating sat Nav maps free of charge for 2016 onwards Nissans as part of scheduled servicing. Anyone else heard this?

I've just had my 30k service and asked about the update - they swapped the sd card for the new one with no charge.
I did note that the new one doesn't have a date shown on the label and checking on the info setting that doesn't have a date either. Cunning move to stop people knowing how old the data is.
Re: Is Nissan now updating maps as part of scheduled servicing? Are you able to tell me what edition you had installed in the upgrade. I purchsed a new ST-L in dec 2017 yet it does mot have roads that are 4yrs old on it I'm curious as to what map I have installed.

Re: Is Nissan now updating maps as part of scheduled servicing? I've just had my 60k service and got the latest update for free. I noticed that the version number is now xxxxx v2 when it was v1.
Again, there is no date on it but it has been improved.
