As Dave said, there is nothing on their Website that bans any 4WD or AWD vehicles.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Tue, 11 Apr 2017 18:33:57 +0000 Re: Moreton?https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2093608,from=rss#post2093608https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2093608,from=rss#post2093608Howell. I have not taken my xtrail to Morton Island but I have taken it to Fraser Island and traveled as far north as Ngala Rocks which is past Indian Head so I believe you should be OK on Morton Island. Someone hopefully will give you more encouragement when they review your post. 2 suggestions. 1. Type in Moreton Island ib the forum search field at the top of the forum page. There are several reports from members who have taken their xtrail there. 2. In Google (or any other search engine that you may be using) type What vehicles are allowed on Moreton Island. I did that and can't find anything that actually bans AWD'S or vehicles without low range. The most profound statement is that vehicles should be suitable for task as it is all sand driving. As stated, perhaps others can assist you. Cheers. nondisclosed_email@example.com (dlpeek)Tue, 11 Apr 2017 18:06:50 +0000 Moreton?https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2093607,from=rss#post2093607https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2093607,from=rss#post2093607Hello. Was hoping to take my 2012 ST T31 manual XTrail to Moreton Island over Easter. However, I've been told that AWDs, or 4WDs without low range are not allowed over there. However, I was there two years ago in a different vehicle and saw quite a few XTrails, and even a couple of Mitsubishi Outlanders. Can anyone advise? I've already booked the barge, so don't want to turn up and not be let on. Any advice appreciated. Thanks nondisclosed_email@example.com (Howelly)Tue, 11 Apr 2017 15:27:27 +0000
