I cannot find a link between the turn indicators and the locking controller in the electrical diagram.
There is a module called the Multi Remote Module which is responsible for receiving the remote control signal for lock and unlock and this has 2 wires on its connector for LH and RH indicator but apart from going to the light circuit, there is no indication of how they connect into the lamp circuit.
My guess is there is a loose connection somewhere. The fact that the fronts flash means the output of the Multi Remote Module is working.

It should be the right-hand box of the two under the driver's storage compartment infront of the steering wheel.
