I've just bought second hand 2011 Nissan Xtrail Ti and I love it by the way.
But I have a small problem with the front lights. There's and L shaped strip that looks like it should be LED's and I assumed parking or DRL's.
But when I turn on lights for parking all i get is the glow from a small filament lamp from far back corner of top part of the head light assembly back from L shaped area. Turning on all lights same result. Nothing lights from holes in L shaped strip.
Looking into the L shaped area it looks like there should be LED's behind it but there isn't.
Is there something i'm missing or do some models of the Xtrail not have the led L shaped led modules installed.
Trawling the net and this forum I've found post that suggest there should be LED's in this L shaped area.
Searching the net I haven't been unable to find any after market LED DRL or strip lights that designed to fit behind the L shaped module in the head lamp assembly.
Re: 2011 Nissan Xtrail Ti - LED Parking Lights. I have a 2010 STL and it came with only 2 filament wedge globes in the "L" shaped area. They do dull out or blow, so I replaced mine with LED wedges, available on ebay, P/N T10 25 SMD and they look and work great. Hope this helps.
