Scott,
It would help us greatly if you had the Year model of your Xtrail in your signature as you were asked in the welcome from our Admin.

Re: front wheel bearing torque settings

Hey Revhead Kev, I must of missed that message. T30 2002 QR25de, auto.
I am in the middle of an engine exchange to date.
The help on this forum has always been spot on. I have used the recommended pedal steps to reset the system with great success.
Another problem I have, what is the best oils, mineral or synthetic, Penrite or Castrol then Mobil and Shell? Especially on a new engine.

Re: front wheel bearing torque settings

Front wheel bearing torque for 2002 Xtrail is 294Nm or 217 ft-lb

Scott, it is worthwhile getting yourself a copy of the Electronic Service Manual where you can find all these yourself. Free access with full membership to this forum.

Please go searching the forum for oils where there is plenty of previous discussion on types or if you need to ask further questions then please do so in the appropriate thread there to stop information being broken up in multiple places.
