Re: Storing phone numbers in AVN726EA
Hi Rogan,
You need to go into your contacts on your phone and select the one you want to transfer, then select the method, which will be Bluetooth, and then in the Bluetooth settings select Eclipse and voila. I just did a couple the other day from my Samsung and it works, but can be quite slow. Also be aware that when you do this it only transfers the first number for the particular contact. For example if you have a contact with a home phone listed first and then a mobile only the mobile number will transfer.
Good luck.

Re: Storing phone numbers in AVN726EA
Hello Whip,
Thank you for the quick response to my little problem.
After some experimenting, I finally managed to store a few numbers in the contraption.
This is how I did it:
726: Firstly, press the PHONE button on the bottom left of the unit.
726; On the menu screen, touch "PHONE BOOK".
Mobile: Open "CONTACTS".
Mobile: Select the person's name. Do not touch their phone number because you will ring the person (as I did).
Mobile: On the screen with the person's name and number, touch SETTINGS (the three little dots), then select "SHARE".
726: Touch "Data Transfer".
Mobile: Touch the BLUETOOTH symbol.
Mobile: Touch ECLIPSE on the mobile.
The person's name and number will then be stored in the PHONE BOOK.
The above applies to android phones. It may be similar on I Phones.
It's most likely what you did, Whip, except I expanded it somewhat.
Thank you very much.
Kindest regards,
Rogan

Re:
It doesn't work for iPhones at all. The head unit is not compatible with the Bluetooth protocol used by Apple, so we can't transfer the phone numbers. This has been an issue from day 1
