Mounting plate for T31 7 Pin Plug?

Firstly a very Merry Christmas to you all!

I recently had my 2009 T31 written off, however managed to salvage the old genuine tow bar before handing the car over.

The good news is that I am now the very happy owner of a mint 2013 Series V.

I am intending to use the holiday break to install the old tow bar to the new car. In removing the old bar, I was unable to salvage the two small thin black plates that are used to mount the 7 pin plug onto the bumper bar.

I'm struggling to find replacements, and am considering just making a couple of plates up (as they won't be seen when the plug is mounted).

Does anyone have an idea where I might be able to purchase these plates? I'm not sure if these are standard items or not, or whether they are actually required when attaching the plug assembly to the car.

Many Thanks
Jules

Hi Jules,

I would certainly consider moving the trailer plug inside the car. ]HERE is a thread that shows you how it's done.
