Not 100% sure which ones were not stamped as I only had a quick flick through the book and I haven't actually picked the car up yet as part of the deal was to fit a tow bar but I called them today and they were going to call the Nissan dealer that did the ones either side to verify if they just forgot to stamp them nondisclosed_email@example.com (Ozy21)Wed, 18 Nov 2015 15:32:42 +0000 Re: Log book not stampedhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089689,from=rss#post2089689https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089689,from=rss#post2089689Hi Mark, Which 2 services ? If they are labelled as supplementary or interim then they are only for those who do not travel the required distance in the expected time and are not needed for warranty purposes.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Wed, 18 Nov 2015 06:46:07 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089687,from=rss#post2089687https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089687,from=rss#post2089687Just look at the previous service stamps to identify the servicing dealer and take the car/service book to them to get stamped. If it was serviced with them they would have a record of it but if the previous owner skipped those services, there isn't much you can do and yes, it could potentially impact on your new car warranty if something serious arises, as one of the main conditions to maintain the new car warranty is to have the car serviced within the specified service/time intervals.nondisclosed_email@example.com (jalalski)Wed, 18 Nov 2015 06:28:17 +0000 Re: Log book not stampedhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089686,from=rss#post2089686https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089686,from=rss#post2089686Thanks Martyn. The pages are blank and I'm in Australia but not sure whether to contact Nissan Australia as I may be just alerting them to the fact and if I do find who serviced it and get the pages stamped it might look a bit suss nondisclosed_email@example.com (Ozy21)Wed, 18 Nov 2015 06:13:49 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089685,from=rss#post2089685https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089685,from=rss#post2089685Hiya, Do you mean the services are written into the record book but the servicing dealer has not used their dealer stamp? Do you know who the servicing dealer is? to go ask them to stamp it. If not, then I would call Nissan UK customer services and ask them, if the car is serviced by a Nissan dealer that should be recorded to your cars chassis number on Nissan UK. They can confirm if they have your car recorded.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Martynf65)Tue, 17 Nov 2015 22:30:32 +0000 Log book not stampedhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089684,from=rss#post2089684https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2089684,from=rss#post2089684Hi all, I've just purchased a 2013 X-Trail with approx 70K which is still under new car warranty but there are two log book services which haven't been stamped in the book. Does this mean Nissan could void or challenge any warranty claims until it expires?? Thanks.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Ozy21)Tue, 17 Nov 2015 22:04:08 +0000
