Last time I was at one I saw many torque converters in racks.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Revhead Kev)Mon, 28 Mar 2016 07:40:27 +0000 Re: T30 torque converterhttps://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2090958,from=rss#post2090958https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2090958,from=rss#post2090958Can anyone recommend a supplier for a torque converter - the one in my T30 rattled for awhile then stopped working - tow home. I have to pull the transmission out & replace the TC. Any tips or references would be appreciated! I have 2 Xtrails now, so the TC repair does not have to be a rush jobnondisclosed_email@example.com (SSSimon)Sun, 27 Mar 2016 20:42:06 +0000 Re: torque converter crank shaft pilot bearing removal 2002 t30 series 1https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2088284,from=rss#post2088284https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2088284,from=rss#post2088284hello all well after purchasing 2 pilot pullers nothing worked. had to resort to welding a large nut to the bush then using a bolt as a puller. hopefully haven't damaged it too much to reuse. peternondisclosed_email@example.com (pand65au)Wed, 15 Jul 2015 15:28:28 +0000 torque converter crank shaft pilot bearing removal 2002 t30 series 1https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2088266,from=rss#post2088266https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2088266,from=rss#post2088266hello all. help has any one removed the pilot bearing from the crank? I have a recondition engine coming but its from a manual. we have an auto so I need to remove this bearing from our engine. the local Nissan dealer does not have the special tool, and all the pullers I have will not catch the edge enough to remove. help any tips or suggestions? it doesn't help that there is nil stock off this bush in Australia. the only part that I have been able to find online at Amaya and other suppliers is for a QR20 engine. the only other way I could find a replacement is to buy a spare 2nd hand crank. then I would have to still remove that one as well. thanks peternondisclosed_email@example.com (pand65au)Mon, 13 Jul 2015 18:17:22 +0000
