T32 DIESEL FUEL CONSUMPTION Hi all, Jalalski asked me to start the T32 Diesel Fuel Consumption Thread.
Currently the forum fuel monitor is recording my T32 at 7.29 lt / 100 km, but the following pic of the fuel consumption screen in the car shows an average of 6.6 Lt / 100 km.

The following image shows the best fuel consumption recorded. This was over about 96 km of mainly highway driving.
I also use Fuelly to monitor my fuel consumption and that has it at 7.3 Lt / 100 km.
I am a little disappointed that the average consumption is nowhere near the advertised consumption of 5.3 Lt / 100 Km, but the 4.4 Lt / 100 km best figure provides a glimpse of what it is capable of doing.
Re: Did a trip to Robertson and back today. Didn't get a pic of the fuel economy 2 display, but the average for the trip down an back was 4.4 L / 100 kms. I am really happy with that, but will see what the fuel economy for the tank of fuel when I fill up next.
Did a road trip today and the stepson (learner) drove from Sutton Forest to Concord. When he stopped at Concord, the trip computer recorded an average of 3.9 Lts / 100 kms over the 133 km distance. The motor is really starting to loosen up nicely.
Re: Fuel Economy T32 1.6LT Diesel After 17,000 km and 69% city driving the T32 TL 4WD is sitting at an average of 6.89 L / 100 kms (as recorded in Fuelly and Spritmonitor). Hopefully will be taking it on a run to Brisbane soon, so will be great to see how it performs over a long distance.
Just got the best tank of fuel out of the T32 TL. Travelled 1002 km before I had to refuel, with an average of 6.05 L/100 kms. This tank had 60% city driving and 40% highway.
Just took the T32 to Brisbane and back and to say I was impressed would be an understatement. The trip up I had three adults in the car and a full load of luggage and managed 1005 km with 55.28 Lts, which equates to 5.5 LT / 100 Kms. The trip back was even better, with two adults and not as much luggage I managed 1054 km with 56.38 Lts and this equates to 5.3 LT / 100 Kms.
I wasn't taking it easy and the weather was atrocious at times, with heavy rain. The T32 handled all traffic conditions impeccably and was extremely comfortable for all on board.
