M9R issues

Hi all

I have a T31 with the diesel M9R motor, just wanting to see what problems other people have experienced with their MOTORS only.

I just changed the oil n filter @ 50K service, noticed oil coming out of intake pipes, oil on bottom cover, turbo seals are gone.
I phoned my local Nissan parts, apparently there are two types of turbos for the M9R motor, this can be identified by the stampings either on the turbo or on the i.d plate on the core. Anyone seen these no's without pulling turbo off? Anyone replaced a turbo? looks like an ass of a job

Anyone pulled their injectors out and had them serviced? Being common rail, are they expensive to service? Any additional info of the injectors would be appreciated...brand, double or single valve spring, tools needed for install etc.

i've been using genuine Nissan engine oil since life of motor. 5w30 full synthetic, C3. Did the 50k oil change, went to get oil and Nissan have scrapped the C3 and changed to a full synthetic 5w30 C4. Anyone had a better experience with an aftermarket oil?

Re: M9R issues

I believe the Nissan Oil is actually 7.5W30.

I use Shell Ultra synthetic 5w40 since abandoning dealer servicing and my Petrol engine runs quite a bit better.

I believe the Shell Ultra ECT 5W-30 is for diesel motors
