2005 Ti-L exy need higher clearence to access Bribie Is - Tires and Suspention/lift

Hey everyone, took our 2005 exy for its first beach run at Bribe Island last weekend, was a blast. Only had to dig ourselves out once, mostly due to my inexperience driving on sand on the entry/exit point at North St access track. Can see that we'll want to do it again, but clearance was our biggest issue and I don't want to bashing the car up to much, so was looking the following below;
1) Better off-road/on-road tires, that lets face it will probably only see the beach at bribe 3-5 times a year, with the girl driving it otherwise so they need to be good on the road. Hoping to get them if possible on existing standard rims...
2) Lift existing suspension, lift kits or new suspension, had a little look around and old man emu systems raise the car 35-50mm. would that be sufficient? any other options anyone can recommend.
3) Need to have an anchor/recovery point attached to front end, any recommendations for any simple self attaching units available on the market?

Any and all recommendations would be welcome, but I do need to keep the cost low to make it happen.

Hi Keal,

Please use the site search feature of the forum to locate existing topics which would provide answers to your questions before starting a new thread.

The T30 Suspension Lift thread gives you all the information you need about raising your exy and the Larger Off-Road tyres thread answers your other question too. Search for these 2 threads. Thanks
