T31 front strut/spring removal. Have you done it?
I've searched and scrolled through the DIY posts individually and can't find anything on anyone having personally removed the front struts on a t31, as most (including myself) got their lift springs installed by a business. So if anyone has actually done this themselves, or in the process of maintenance, repairs or upgrades you've encountered such a thing; do you have any recommendations for specific tools or highlighting any annoying little things you wish you'd remembered during the task? I'm about to remove the front struts to add my coil spring spacers and the ESM has been proving less than helpful (admittedly I have always struggled to use it on the computer) so am open to any advice given me. I only have the one car so if I take it all apart only to find I need a specific tool, part or attachment I'm going to be pretty pissed!
Thanks in advance.

Re: T31 front strut/spring removal. Have you done it?
Spring compressors and a good socket set should do it (incl. breaker bar and torque wrench). If you can find a good DIY guide for any IFS vehicle that should get you 3/4 of the way there.
Something like this.

Re: T31 front strut/spring removal. Have you done it?
Ian,
Are the front struts that much different in the T31 than the T30 ? I thought only the rears were different.
If not then read through the guide Rich and I put together for our spacer lift here as it might give you some clues.
