T32 Lights Mod
I switched my first bulbs 3 days into getting my T32....
I had some spare T10/W5W 6000K LEDs, so I popped them into the rear plate lights. Looks kinda blueish in the above pic.....
But with sufficient surrounding lights, it looks better:
The license plate lights are really easy to replace, just pull down the plastic panel and unscrew the housing with a phillips screwdriver.
I tried replacing the W16W reverse lights too, but after pulling off the plastic panel from behind the boot door, I found each light housing held in place with three screws, and one of them is really hard to get to without a proper wrench extension..... I'm guessing a 10cm 1/4" extension with should fit...... so I'm holding it off till I get the chance to go to Bunnings.
I also have some Philips Crystalvision bulbs on the way..........

Re:
The warranty isn't worth the paper it is written on Mark. Unless Nissan can prove by 100% that any modification caused a direct malfunction of a fault that is being reported, they have no ground to stand on and in all honesty I couldn't care less about their useless warranty anyway.
They always seem to find ways to screw us over with or without a warranty, so we might as well enjoy our cars they way we want them to be.

Re:
We'll have to agree to disagree there Jalal - I've had nothing but great service from Nissan and warranty repairs have saved me thousands. Whilst I agree that light mods aren't likely to cause any warranty problem (unless it is a catalyst for future electrical problems), I think the reason a lot get screwed over with warranty repairs is that they give the dealer an excuse to try and get away with it.
Completely off topic...but my point is the warranty works fine if people don't provide any reason for the dealer to not honour it.
