Stock Internal Light

Hi, Simple question (I hope) - I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if this is a stock map light on a 2004 STX?
I was trying to get a replacement bulb and I've been told this is after market.

Re:

I think you can easily tell by the dodgy wires and the burnt base mark that this is no where near stock.

Check THIS for pics of the stock map light.

You can still buy an LED block to replace your LED strip.

Thanks - I didn't really notice that; will have to take a closer look!!

Are you sure the pics in that link are the same as mine? The author notes that "the front lamp is only an on/off map reading lamp" - but as you can see from mine, it has three (DOOR/OFF/ON) settings much like the centre lamp.

Re:

If your xtrail has a sunroof, it will be the same as Kev's map light shown in that thread. In any case, the bulb itself is identical between the T30 models. It can be upgraded to an LED type, but not an LED strip the way it has been done with yours.

Refer to THIS for information on where you can buy the correct LED tray to fit your map light.
