Re:

It seems the transmission now offers a Low (L) gear selection which we currently don't have.

Not only will it have the 4WD torque display, but it will also have remote tyre pressure monitoring system displayed on the dash as well, so it will be pretty busy with lots of information cramped in that little screen in the middle.

Re: T32 Nissan X-TRAIL Launch (Official Nissan Announcement)

I'm not sure what the L position replaces, probably our "1" with no way to select "2" for second gear which is the most versatile gear for offroading and beach work.

Great work Nissan. Make a car less capable off-road then add features that only benefit you off-road. emoticon

Re: T32 Nissan X-TRAIL Launch (Official Nissan Announcement)

Maybe there might be the possibility of a diesel coming back somewhere into the range in a future model as Nissan are showing a Cummins-powered Frontier at the Chicago Motor Show.

Rumour I heard was the they are going to drop a Cummins diesel into the Patrol. Haven't heard anything else about other cars.

Re:

They need to have a decent diesel for me to show any interest. More so since this one has less space inside compared to the T31 and that was one of the big ticks' for me.

Re:

It unticks all the boxes for us.

Nissan may have a big slide in sales with this model.

Some nice features but since it looks to be not very good for off road and the smaller carrying space I will never be buying one.

Regards Scot.
