Changing digital climate control panel to analogue knobs

I really hate using the digital climate control buttons. Always difficult to change the fan speed, especially down (ie. having to press it 3 or 4 times) or the fan position. I try not to do it while driving because it's so dangerous.

Does anyone know if a simple swap could be done?

Or is there another analogue control panel that might work?

Admin Edit: eBay link removed.

Re:

Simple and quick answer is "not possible"

I tried doing the opposite by going from the manual dials to the climate control set-up and after dismantling everything it proved impossible and it is directly connected to the ECU as well, which means it is not only a matter of swapping the controls.

Thanks Jalal. I thought that was probably the case but hoped otherwise.

Re: Re:

Hi Jalaski wonder if anybody can help me out and if anybody has done any electrical mods to their T31 esky.
As i want to fit the auto light function from a Ti or a TL to my TS model have been able to track down a light rain sensor which is fitted to the windscreen and a new headlight stock with the auto position on it.
Have also got a full wiring diagrams which show it gets a feed from fuse 8 then goes to sensor and from there goes to the BCM and then a wire goes to the combination switch which is all fine as i got pins so can re-pin all plugs.

And also if anybody has fitted climate control HVAC system to their older model

Nissan can’t tell me if i re-pin the BCM wether the auto lights will work or the climate control will work

regards Steven

Re:

Sorry Steven, I don't think anyone has done TS to TL conversion like you're doing, so I think this is a jon for an auto electrician to tackle, as it involves far too many variants and components some of which are linked to the BCM (or not).

He has not been active on the forum since 2012, so I doubt he's still looking for one.

List your item in the For Sale section of the forum. (it requires that you have Full Membership)
