Stockton beach. 30 November
Stockton Beach last day of Spring beach bash (without too much bashing of our cars)
Meet: Lavis Lane beach entry - last car park before sand dunes.
Time: 10:00am
Date: Saturday 30 November
The plan:
Turn onto Lavis Lane at the Metro Petrol Station / McDonalds (remember to pick your stockton beach pass at the service station)
We'll cross the dune area and head towards the RVA area and check out the Signa wreck.
Tides are pretty good, as they'll be the lowest around lunch. Best to be off the beach by about 3pm.
This is a pretty fun trip, and won't require modifications as such - you may just get a bit more 'stuck' that usual... if you have recovery gear, please bring it, but I'll have the usual stuff (maxtrax, snatch, tow, etc.). If you're worried, and have a towbar, spend $40 and get yourself a hitch recovery point.
BYO lunch as usual.
PLEASE BUY YOUR PERMITS before you get to Lavis Lane - the Metro Petrol Station near McDonalds sell them as does the BP near the road to Medowie - the bakery next door is fantastic!!!
3-day pass is $10; annual is $30 (per vehicle)
Tara and I will be in Nelson Bay for a few days, so if you're in the area earlier in the day (breakfast) or later (dinner) let us know.

I wouldn't mind going there for a ride on the bike (if the weather is OK) and then catching a lift with Dave or one of the boys for the day as a passenger
