Cheers mate, will see how we go, long time till that trip. We probably wouldnt know till about late may next year if we were going or not.nondisclosed_email@example.com (mants)Thu, 01 May 2014 17:43:29 +0000 Re:https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082750,from=rss#post2082750https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2082750,from=rss#post2082750Thanks for the offer Max. Plan 2 has been planned.nondisclosed_email@example.com (nananut)Tue, 15 Apr 2014 22:26:21 +0000 Karijini National Park/Broome and the Northwest (5th July 2014 to 19th July 2014)https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2079233,from=rss#post2079233https://baustralianxtrail.runboard.com/p2079233,from=rss#post2079233I'm heading up to Karijini NP, Broome, Coral Bay, Exmouth, Monkey Mia and around the Northwest in the July school holidays next year. As it is during the holidays, accommodation needs to be booked at Karijini NP and Broome pretty early (by January or February, maybe March the latest) hence this super early post. Rough plan (will update with more details when I have more info): Plan 1 I had before it got cancelled, was to take the inland road to Newman, camp overnight there then head to Karijini NP the next day and spend a good 3 to 4 nights in Karijini NP. DPaW has campgrounds but can't book (first come first serve) so the best guaranteed campground is the Karijini Eco Retreat. After Karijini, will head off to Broome for a few days, then follow the coast back to Perth, stopping at various towns on the way back. Last camping stop is probably at Murchinson Off Road 4wd Adventure Park for a couple of nights for a bit of fun. Plan 2 and most likely the plan I'm doing. Leaving Kalgoorlie on Saturday 5th July and camp somewhere between Wiluna and Meekatharra. Sunday travel to Karijini NP and spend a few days at mostly likely the Eco Retreat. I'm not rushing anywhere but the next destination is Exmouth for a couple of nights then camp at one of the towns along the North West Coastal Hwy and maybe end up at Murchison Off Road 4wd Adventure Park for a night or 2 at the end. I need to be back in Kalgoorlie by latest 19th July and will be staying at a friend's place in Northam on the 18th night. Unfortunately there is no time to drop by Broome. Will be camping at different caravan parks and DPaW campgrounds. Even though camping at established campsites with amenities, being self-sufficient is essential in case anything happens as this is remote country. 4wding is guaranteed. If interested or got any other suggestions please let me know. I'll be asking one of the guys in my 4wd club who had done this trip earlier this year for more info and best spots.nondisclosed_email@example.com (nananut)Wed, 13 Nov 2013 23:28:39 +0000
