fog light part number 26150 8993B and 26150 8992B

Hey guys,

a while back I smashed my passenger side fog lamp on my 2012 T31. I have just found a replacement on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=360605347825&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en) and the part number is 1 digit different.

On my fog lamp the part number is

26150 8993B

and on the one I found on ebay in the UK is

26150 8992B

Is this just to differentiate sides or will this part not fit my Xtrail? If it is side related are the side interchangeable?

Cheers

Mark

Re:

Hi Mark,

I'd say they're identical, one could be a Nissan Infiniti part number and the other one is a Nissan Japan part number. I reckon go for it if you can't find the fog light cheaper here in Australia cause I have seen a member buy these fog lights for $195 a pair. You might as well get a full set and keep one as spare emoticon

Re:

Yeah, I can get them for similar price but dont really want to buy 2, seems a bit pointless.

All I need is the lense really as I have the unit and removed all the silicone and broken glass. Do you know if I can get just the lense?

Cheers

Re:

Nope mate. The whole fog light must be changed. Nobody sells the glass by itself.

You can try the wreckers but even they will only sell you the whole fog lights and not the glass.

Re:

Thanks Jalalski,

Thought this was the case, just wanted to check just on the off chance.

Might just bite the bullet and order the one from the UK, then purchase some thick clear plastic and cover both lense's to provent future mishaps emoticon

Thanks for your help again Jalalski, much appreciated emoticon

Regards

Mark

Re:

Just found this one,

It says its off a T30.....but looks identical to my T31 fog. It has the correct mount bolt too?

Is it off a t30 or t31?

Re:

If it's off a T30 it won't fit the T31, as the angle of the T31 fog light is a bit different.
