Radiator Question

I can move my radiator forward and back or wiggle it a good half inch or more , is this normal as i see no way of tightening it.
I only ask as i have not had a xtrail before.

Re:

I know on a T31 the radiator was mounted on rubber pads which also made it move around like it was loose.
I am assuming the T30 is the same.

Re: Re:

Cooch is right,

I have not dashed out to look at mine (which is a different model anyway). but I've found that many radiators seem to be mounted on rubber bushes these days....don't worry about it.

Re: Radiator Question

Yes the T30 also has the rubber mounts around the top locating pins and the radiator does move as you wiggle it, just a little bit emoticon

Don't go with the mechanic or car-yard.
If you have any concerns, throw them out there in this forum.
I'm sure you will get the right information;
from people who know.

Re:

Given the information you have supplied so far about the car yard who sold the vehicle to you, I wouldn't rely on them to tell you the truth.

You are best off to check here first. Collectively, there are enough of us here who can give you the right answers to almost any question.

Re: Radiator Question

Time to revive an old post - but the bushes on my T30's radiator are stuffed after a trip over the dargo high plains (along with a bunch of other stuff)

Anyone know where I can get these?

I'm considering putting my laser cutter to work and improvising some soon.
