Re:

Thanks John, but Eastern Creek raceway is closer to my place than this one.

I remember someone in the bike forum I am in mentioning a place closer to the Sutherland Shire, so have to dig it out.

I feel confident enough around corners, but for someone to correct my technique in everything else I do or if I am doing something wrong that I shouldn't be doing, is certainly a good opportunity.

Have already done peak hour runs (in SYDNEY!!!), so that is fine too.

I've had 5 bikes:

1968(?) Honda 90S (T frame) - no pic

1969 Honda CL175
Image

1982/3 BMW 65LS
Image

1984 BMW R80GS

Honda XL500 (early 80s?) - no pic this one either.

I did three Stay Upright courses in mid and late 80s. Had my bike licence 20 years at that stage, and was really impressed. Learned a lot, and it also made a big difference to my car driving.

Love it John, this is one of those times a Like button would be nice - not that I'm asking for one Jalal.

Re:

I have another contender aded to my shortlist in addition to the VFR800 now, it's the Ninja 1000 which also seems like a comfortable bike to ride and not as powerful as other sportbikes. It's a bit expensive though but I reckon it's worth a test ride.

Re: Members Motorbikes

Sorry Jalal, Hayabusa or GSX 1300R

The Kawasaki is a great bike bit more power than the rest you were looking at
Take them all for a test ride, the dealers are a bit more likely to let you take them out for
a longer ride as you are a "mature rider", rather than some 20yr old. Good Luck and stay sunny side up !!!
Regards

Re:

I was fiddling about in the garage today.
I had some LED running lites, I wanted to fit to the bike.
Heres a couple of foto's of the product.

This is what they look like out of the envelope.

On the bottom of my screen.

The same LED's on my mates bike, I put them on while he took mine for a rego check.

Not a bad job for a mug electrician,
I just have to power them up tomorrow.

Re:

Nice and bright there John, but you now need to change the headlight bulb to match the colour, otherwise it will look like a fog light compared to these LEDs emoticon
