Re:
Must put a lot of faith in the hinges of that tailgate to fit a ladder to it.
Looks sweet, I wonder how it drives.

Re: T31 "body lift"
So what did they do to that X-Trail to get that lift? Looks very cool.
Funny part is even with that massive lift and big tyres the exhaust is still located below the rear axle. Surely there is a better way...

Re:
Guys... I've been so caught up immersing myself in the online world of japanese parts that I think I'm starting to become fluent But to answer and respond to all of the above comments. Everything you see in those photos, is now available to buy online. Trying to find and interpret a shop/website that stocks the parts and/or ships overseas, however, has been proving rather difficult.
Tony, the ladder is made of an alloy, so it's not too heavy, although personally I'd install stronger struts on the door first.
Todd, eat your heart out, mate... (I've been drooling non-stop for days now)

Kev, superchargers are available on so many US sites thanks to the popularity of the Nissan Sentra over there, plenty of which simply require "bolt-on" application (I'd still get it tuned, etc). I even found a twin-turbo... (yeah, crazy huh!)
Everyone: power chips, turbo's, superchargers, lift kits, throttle body spacers, upgraded headers, camber kits (for significant lifts), bonnet scoops and side air vents, every mechanicaly and bodily modification that you can imagine, I have found. I have stumbled upon so much info it is mind-boggling, so if you have any requests or questions of any kind, please feel free to pm me. I'm going crazy with research and hunting for this lift kit, but there's simply too much info to try and write a generalised response for everyone at once.

Re: T31 "body lift"
So is it possible to actually buy that kit? Have you got a price guide yet?

Re:
Nothing that you found is new or haven't been around before, the problem however is that most of Japanese mods are non-compliant with our regulations here in Australia, althought they do look nice.
As for the performance mods, please keep them totally separate to this thread, as we (T31 oners that is) share the same platfoem and engine with the US Sentra Spec-V. Enough said

Re:
Tony,
This page only appeared within the past two (2) days...
http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&ei=6RpqUe_sE--diAfB34GQDw&hl=en&langpair=ja%7Cen&rurl=translate.google.com.au&u=http://item.rakuten.co.jp/4wd-tuhan/13041601/&usg=ALkJrhhq4SQgdKhcf7roV1T4r1z36kcrUg
The price isn't exactly cheap, but if it means I don't have to do so much more work, all of it trial-and-error.. I'm more than ok with it. I'm currently trying to contact the shop, to organise the possibility of shipping with instructions. The language-barrier is really killing me..

Re:
Ian, I think you meant Jalal but any way.
I honestly think that the Xy is going to handle like a dog when it's that high, being such a tall box on wheels, a potential for a roll over is hugely increased.
Does look good though.

Re:
I meant Todd actually! Woops, I was pretty tired last night, haha.
You're probably right Tony, but if you look carefully, the suspension gear on that particular xtrail is highly modified. There's longer travel shocks, tower-mounts, camber correction kits for big lifts, steering dampers and even 3inch coils etc. If I can find a higher spring-rate coil I think I'll be ok with that, and some fore-thought with taking corners of course!
