Re: T31 Engine Bay Insulator R1219 2.0litre diesel engine

HI,
Had this recall done at my 30000 km service, and there was no sticker attached to the vehicle. Took a while to work out what they did, when I checked the other day when washing.
Looks like it would of taken about 5 mins to do.
Will try and post a pic.

cheers

Re:

The sticker should be on the 'A' pillar of the drivers door, in between the hinges.

Re:

This problem is rectified with a simply plate connected to two previously installed studs, which hold the insulator back.

Had my recall fix done last week and the service manager with whom I have a good rapport also put Nissan Consult on and downloaded the latest software for the vehicle.

Is there a sticker on the door pillar or any way of identifying if the ECU upgrade has been done?

Re:

Stickers are only installed if a recall is done.
An ECU upgrade can happen many times during the service of a car and if they did use a sticker, would cover most of the door 'A' pillar.
