How long did it take and what did they put on the service docket to confirm it has been done?

It took around [sign in to see URL]. I assume most of that time was to let the engine cool down long enough to work on. No docket but I can see it has been replaced. That's good enough for me.

The would normally put a sticker with the recall campaign number next to the driver's door hinge.

Spot on Jalal. A sticker with a number and a date.
Motor has cooled down now so went for a closer look. They haven't replaced the insulation. They have installed an extra plastic bracket to hold it away from the turbo. Does the job I guess.

Received our letter in the mail earlier this week. Wifey has our Exy booked in for next Wed.
I'm never worried - I've had a few new cars before which have been subject to recalls and I always prefer to see car companies do this stuff rather than try hide it or pretend the problem isn't there. At least you know it's fixed.

Re:

The sticker is not that important, as Nissan Australia would have your VIN on record and would show this recall is done. The sticker is useful when you're selling your car to save the new owner the hassle of having to call Nissan Australia to check if the recall has been done (or not).
