Re:

G'day Ty,

Put Vicky & I down as a maybe at this stage.
My daughter and son in law just bought a Pajero so they might like to come as well to get 'off road initiated'. Seriously doubt Cody will make it as it's his 18th birthday dinner the night before and then he will be going out with his mates afterwards.

I will let you know over the next week or so if I make it definite.

Re: Beerburrum State Forest / Donnybrook

Jamie, I have added you guys as a maybe.
Bob002, also added you and son as a maybe.
DogTrail, how many of you will there be?
yummymummyis40, sorry you can't make it.
ozstickman, thanks for your feedback.

I personally do not have a GPS and not sure what would be the best way to navigate this track. If anyone got suggestions, please let me know.

Re: Beerburrum State Forest / Donnybrook

Just the 1 person plus the kid with fur.

I had a quick squiz at the Coochin Ck end (east of the Hwy) earlier this week.

All bitumen after the M1 underpass rubbish & only 100M gravel to the actual Day site (dogs not allowed on the Council Day site - not a problem if they stay in the car, or alternately there is a better spot nearer the given GPS reference with a short track to the deep water creek).

Plenty of side roads to play in ranging from side scrapers to 20M wide good gravel allowing for experimental control at speed.

Roys Road & Bells Ck Rd lead to some quite pleasant areas.

Could do the main routes on a powered skateboard.

Hopefully the rest of the track has some more challenging bits.

I'm very interested in attending this one. Unfortunately I won't be able on Sept 29th. If it was on Oct 6 or 7th would be great.

I will be looking forward to the next one!!!

Re: Beerburrum State Forest / Donnybrook

Whoops! I left my post open to misinterpretation.

Happens all the time in real life as well.

In this instance, the kid with fur is my dog.

As you said in your update, to all intents and purposes - he is my child.

Hey Rodrigo, those dates are also open for the run down to Woolgoolga NSW if you are interested and you will have a blast down there as we will be doing sand and bush driving!
