Re: The Black T31

Picked up my new nudge bar today and of course had to install it tonight. ECB 63mm. Really like it. Good size and very strong.

They're a great bar Todd, you won't be disappointed.
Just the amount of holes and brackets you have to drill in the square tube is proof that they are very solid.

Re: The Black T31

Just installed a pair of Narva 175 driving lights. They are blue so give off a pure white light. Will see how they go tonight.

Installed new DBA slotted brake rotors and Bendix 4WD brake pads on the front of the car on the weekend.
Old rotor:

Went up to Newnes on sunday and the difference coming back down Bells Line of Road was amazing. So much better than the old set up.

Re:

Good stuff Todd. It seems that the surface heat cracks on the factory rotors are quite common which proves that their quality is not all the flashy anyway. I will be upgrading ours as soon as they wear out. There is nothing better than the combination of the slotted rotors and the DBA pads.

Put on two new Bridgestone D697 225/65/17. The tread is heaps deeper than the Yokos ever were.
One of my Yokos with roughly 50% tread left

Re:

I almost ended up with the 697's too Todd, but went with the Hankook Dynapros instead.
I got so many mixed reviews from different retailers and that gave me the !@#$.

Re:

These look very similar to the D694s A/Ts I had on my T30. They were awesome off-road, but they drove me nuts with the tyre noise on-road. Would be interested in hearing your review about them.

Re: The Black T31

They are the 'new generation' D694's. Meant to have improved a few things. So far no extra road noise and I did listen for anything on the way home friday. See if they get noisy as they wear.
