Re:

Hi Guys,

Scot received a call from The Lorikeet today confirming that it is NOT a good idea for us to be there for the September weekend, as they would be very busy and won't have the ability to give us the attention they want to give us, so they suggested we stick with the original plan.

Based on the above, The Trip is now confirmed to be going a head for the weekend from the 5th of October, to 7th of October, 2012

Re:

Just so everyone understands the dog rule at Lorrikeet, If you have your own van then the dogs are welcome but if taking a cabin then no dogs are permitted.

Sorry to those that are having to go else where to accommodate their dogs but we have dogs as well and we have a pet sitter that comes and feeds all our animals for us while we are away and I know that can be a bit expensive for some but it is the best solution we found.

Regards Scot

What about dogs when camping? We would definitely be camping and they would be in 1 room of the tent to sleep.

No worries Jamie, you're showing as confirmed now.

We can start booking accommodation as soon as I get the price list from Jo and the discount rate applicable to us.

Re:

Todd,

Am afraid there can't be exemptions made with your dogs as there are other members with dogs as well and if an expemtion is given to you then everyone lese would be entitled to it as well and it is something the caravan park doesn't want to do.

Am sorry, but you gonna have to make your own arrangements with your dogs.

No worries. Let me know when you're booking and I will book a site at Arrawarra at the same time. Its only a 2km walk up the beach so not a big deal. I assume we will be OK to visit Lorikeet with the dogs for dinners/socialising?
