Hi Cooch.

The idea is to protect the lead and I did look at alternatives to this method, however it is the simplest way to do the job. It is unlikely to cause a problem in normal driving as has been said, but as I said we are often on tracks which run through forest, or on the edge of forests meaning it is more likely that it could be an issue for me.

I have just replaced the bushes on the rear antiroll bar. The grease is tacky grease, it is can be used as a simple antirust coating, once it goes off it stops water ingress a bit like waxoil but less messy emoticon

I am in the process of replacing alot of the bushes, sad to say the previous owner had not bothered with simple maintance. I have these checked and they are not as bad as it looks, but I am going to do them. I have quite a lot to do emoticon
