Re:
No injuries to anyone, the air bags didn't even twitch.
If there was 10-15 cm more distance between the cars I wouldn't have hit the falcon in front.
By time I hit them, I was barely going 5-10kmh sliding.
So bumper, nudge bar, 1 spotlight, 1 spotlight cover(the other one ironically), stone deflector, and hopefully nothing inside. The nudgebar bent on its mounts into the bumper.
Other car - rear bumper and a crease in the boot.
Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get the parts in and the repairers have a timeframe before this event.
Would like a weekend away before I drive out to Bedourie in July. I might even make the Saturday if I can get my friend to be second driver for a Friday night run down to Helidon. That was the original plan. Although I would prefer an hour or 2 sleep before anything difficult on the Sat.
However my car is very drivable in this condition, so I may just turn up anyhow. Since its so close.
We shall see how it all turns out.
[EDIT] Looks like I am out.
However they (repairer) will try and get it fixed a few days before I leave for Bedourie at least. First date they said was the 27th of July
