Re:

I washed the car today and hosed them with water and soap, so I will tell you tomorrow if they are still there when I check them in the morning emoticon

They're held in place by double-sided 3M tape.

Hi Jalal,

How did you go with the DRL's after washing the car and driving with them for awhile.

Mine arrived and am looking at trying to put them on the car sometime over the weekend.

Re:

They held up very good and didn't get affected by washing the car and even wiping them clean with a soapy sponge, all systems go and I put another set of them on my Mercedes now as well emoticon

I reckon they will look even better on your black exy, as they won't be noticeable at all in daytime when not lit, as the LED strip itself is black.

Re: DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)

Nice position for the LED. Do you have suggestions where to put it in the T31 series 1? The only position I can see fit is the horizontal space between the grill and the bumper. But don't know if it looks good. I notice the hyper roof rails don't come in any models in Australia, how much do you pay for that mod? Here in Phil, the hyper roof rails come standard for the 4x4 variant only. But some people don't like how it looks.

Re:

I would recommend exactly the same position for the T31 Series 1 as well.

The discussion about the T31 Hyper Roof Rails needs to be shifted to THIS thread please.

Re: DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)

Do DRLs come in different output LEDs on the strips .I imagine you would want the brightest you could get otherwise they would be useless for the intended purpose. If they do what is the best output LED to look for.

Re:

All of the DRL SMD LED strips and lights are bright enough to be quite noticeable in daytime. The 8500K colour ensures they are super white as well.
