Im Back
Hi All,
Firstly....WOW, I can't believe how much reading I have to do to catch up on the forum, its going to take me months of late nights to get up to speed with you all.
So, where have I been...no where really. The little one was going through some rough stages with not sleeping and not eating which was not leaving much rest/sleep for my wife and I. At the same time work was going through a lot with the GFC, looking for new suppliers so work was also busy and thinking about looking at a computer screen after hours stressed me out...was nothing against you all
Then just before xmas they made me redundant which was a nice surprise. So the last couple of months been destressing, spending quality time with the family and doing some things around the house.
So the only two things left are getting a job, and of course catching up on some reading on the forum.
Hope your all doing well, and hope to see some of you soon
take care
Samuel

Re:
Hi Samuel,
Nice to have you back mate, I started wondering if you sold the exy.
Sorry to hear about the redundancy, it never is a nice thing and I know very well how it feels to be told just before the festive season
Hopefully you will find something real soon as the job market is not as dead as it was back during the GFC when it happened to me, so take it easy and finish whatever you need to do around the house first and then start looking.
Have fun reading the forum posts

Re:
Hiya Samuel.
Nothing worse than getting the D.C.B. (Don't Come Back), especially just before the festive season.
As Jalal said, take it easy, de-stress fully, relax, then when you are ready, see what you can find.
Most importantly, spend quality time with the family.
Oh yes, & try to catch up with whats been going on in here.
All the best buddy.

Life does throw some curveballs at you but all are pieces in a big puzzle.
Things happen for a reason and good things will start coming your way.

Re:
Yes Jalal not a good time to go at the festive season although not much you can do.
Still got exy. The bank can take the house although they cant take my exy, its paid off
Not wrong about the curveballs Tony, im ok with curveballs although when no money is coming in things get more interesting. Yes she is now 17months and time is going so quickly. Her latest thing is when she sees a blue exy she says caca!

Is that good or bad? It does sound bad and "smelly" if I translate it to Russian. hahahaha

Re:
Good news....finally got a full time job which I'm excited about. The only issue is I live out parramatta way and they are based at Port Botnay...not to mention the peak hour traffic both ways.
I'll be working for a freight forwarder dealing with trains from the Port to their customers around NSW.
Now the task is what time to leave home to make it to work by 730 (im guessing around 6am) and not sit in traffic. Any suggestions would be greatfull.

Re:
Congrats on the new job Samuel.
Mate no matter what time you leave you will find traffic, at least you don't live up my way, then you'd have to leave super early.
Hope it all goes well for you mate.
