Re:
250/70/R15 is what's on my exy, same size as originals.
Always serviced at 10,000km intervals, which have come up very fast this year.
Most of my driving is on good bitumen roads, except for the last section out to where I live is about 16-18km of gravel in four sections. This gets driven each way once a fortnight, which I don't think is very much.

Re:
Switching to any new tyres will make a dramatic improvement compared to the older ones, no matter what brand.
They are a great tyre and you will love having these on.

Re:
Update on the rear Yokos. The new fronts seem to be wearing fine.
I'm on the Sunny Coast again and asked Bob Jane at Nambour to check my tyres this morning, as I'm adding more kms than originally planned by driving down to Armidale before I head back north to home. The person who looked at them reckoned I've still got another 15,000-20,000km.

Re:
With my first set a couple years ago they'd only done 10-12,000km and got an impact split. I had assumed I was automatically entitled to the Yoko warranty, but Tyrepower Cairns where I bought them brushed me off and told me I'd have to pay for another one.
I rang Yokohama in Brisbane who were very helpful on the phone and arranged for the Townsville rep to call me promptly. He arranged with Bob Jane in Cairns to supply me with a replacement free of charge, and backdated the warranty for me.
Very impressed by the way Yokohama handled this for me.
Not so impressed by the fact that Bob Jane Cairns must have only rotated side to side and not all around as my front tyres suddenly were almost bald at 50,000km and I have done almost 15,000km on the rears since then and they keep telling me I've still got at least another 5-10,000km on them yet.
